Rosemont College and Assistant Professor Joanne Campbell announces the opening of Winter Celebrations Around the World, a Cultural Heritage Gallery program that begins with the exhibit launch on December 3 at 4:00pm in the Gertrude Kistler Library. The exhibit will remain on display throughout December and offers many opportunities for the community to explore winter traditions, folklore, and global celebrations— featuring the Peg Healy Crèche Collection.
Peg Healy served as President of Rosemont College from 1995 – 2001. Come celebrate warmth, light, and culture during the darkest days of winter.
An Exhibit Launch of Global Winter Traditions
The Cultural Heritage Gallery created this program to highlight seasonal celebrations from many cultures. The exhibit presents stories and customs that reflect the rich history of winter observances. As a result, visitors can learn about global traditions in a setting that encourages discovery and connection.
Each station provides clear and engaging information. This structure helps guests build a deeper understanding of cultural diversity while enjoying an informative and welcoming experience.
