Empower Our Community: Join Us for Title IX and Campus Safety Training!
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to an important event focused on campus safety and respect. On January 29th at 12:30pm, Stephen J. Jones, MS, a respected faculty member in the Graduate and Professional Studies schools, will lead a presentation titled Creating a Safe and Respectful Campus. This session will address critical issues like harassment, assault, and the protections available under Title IX and other campus safety laws. Let’s work together to make Rosemont College a safer, more respectful place for all.
MLK Artistic Expression Contest Now Open!
As we reflect on Dr. King’s legacy, students are encouraged to submit forms of artistic/academic expression centered around the theme of “The Beloved Community” for our annual artistic expression contest. Essays, short stories, poems, songs, visual art, and performance pieces are all welcome! Entries are due February 14.
This Wednesday! Author Talk with Renowned Scholar on Graffiti Art and Cultural Expression
Rosemont College’s Cultural Heritage Gallery is proud to announce an engaging lecture by world renowned scholar Dr. Mitja Velikonja, chair of Cultural Studies from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia titled “When Walls Speak: Graffiti Studies in Ukraine.” Dr. Velikonja’s lecture will delve into the power of graffiti and street art as forms of political and cultural expression. Students, take your ambition to new heights! Join us on Thursday for our first alumni career mentoring session of the semester: Ask the Expert Human Resources with Eileen Finn, ‘75. Eileen Finn & Associates was founded in 1998 as an executive search firm with a practice specialty in Human Resources, conducting searches in diverse industry sectors and across multiple functions in Human Resources. Throughout Eileen’s professional career, she has advised/coached candidates and clients during her executive search activities. Eileen brings more than thirty five years of business experience to her executive coaching practice including thirty years in executive search and talent assessment.
