The Rosemont College campus was full of energy and excitement as students, faculty, and staff came together for the Annual Wellness 5K. The event was sponsored by the Rosemont Counseling Center, led by Counseling Center Director and Clinical Supervisor Dr. Thomas DeGeorge, along with the Counseling Center students. The experience embodied the spirit of community, movement, and well being, bringing everyone together for a day focused on health and wellness.
A Celebration of Movement & Togetherness
The Wellness 5K encouraged participants to move at their own pace. Participants had a choice to walk with friends, jog or run. Laughter and conversation filled the route, creating a welcoming environment where everyone supported and encouraged one another. The event offered a meaningful reminder that wellness is not only about exercise but also about connecting with others and finding balance in daily life.
Health & Fun Along the Route
Throughout the course, wellness tables offered healthy snacks, games, and opportunities for reflection. Each stop along the way invited participants to think about the importance of physical and mental health. Volunteers and staff cheered on participants and provided motivation that kept the energy high from start to finish.
A Community Focused on Well Being
The success of the Wellness 5K reflected Rosemont Collegeās ongoing commitment to promoting holistic wellness. The event reminded everyone of the value of self care, community connection, and joyful movement. It also encouraged participants to carry these lessons forward, continuing healthy habits beyond the event itself.
Rosemont College extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the Wellness 5K such a success. The day proved that when the community comes together, wellness becomes both achievable and enjoyable for all.
