About the Gertrude Kistler Memorial Library
Located at the center of campus, the Gertrude Kistler Memorial Library serves as the hub for academic research, learning, and collaboration. Since its founding in 1926, the library has remained a vital part of Rosemont’s academic mission. It offers a wide range of physical and digital resources that support all areas of study.
Kistler Library follows a Learning Commons model. This approach creates a welcoming space for individual study, group work, and faculty collaboration. Dedicated staff provide expert support to help students become skilled and ethical users of information.
The library team also works closely with professors to integrate resources into classroom learning. This partnership ensures that students receive the tools they need both in and out of the classroom.
In addition to its physical spaces, Kistler Library offers a robust online presence. Students can access databases, research guides, and academic tools from anywhere at any time.
These updated library hours reflect Rosemont’s ongoing commitment to student success and innovation. The College recognizes the importance of flexibility, especially during busy academic periods.
Students are encouraged to visit the library, explore its many services, and take full advantage of the extended schedule. For more information, visit the library’s webpage or stop by during open hours.
