Join us for a weekly creative escape that blends art, history, community, and purpose!
The Witness Tree Project: Quilting and Crafting for Heritage is back every Monday from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Sharon Latchaw Hirsh Community Center, Cardinal Hall Cafeteria is open to the Rosemont community. Whether you’re an experienced quilter, a total beginner, or simply curious about textile arts, this is your invitation to create, connect, and preserve stories that matter.
What Happens at the Witness Tree Project?
Led by Master Quilter Cathy Fennell, each session offers hands on crafting focused on heritage and storytelling. You’ll work on:
- BSU & CHG Witness Tree Quilt – a collaborative quilt project honoring history and resilience
- Photography
- Textile Arts
- Photo Voice – a powerful visual participatory action research method that lets you document and share your perspective through images
No experience needed — just bring your creativity and curiosity!
