Rosemont College proudly announces that T. Nicole Cirone, an accomplished writer, editor, and educator, will lead the Small Fabric: Micro Poetry and Prose one day masterclass. This engaging event is part of the Fall 2025 Writerās Studio Workshop and will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10:00am to 3:00pm in the Community Center Board Room.
About T. Nicole Cirone
T. Nicole Cirone is a published author of essays, poetry, and fiction. Her book Nine Nails: A Novel in Essays (Serving House Books, 2019) blends lyrical language with narrative depth. She edits Ran Off With the Star Bassoon and The Night Heron Barks, helping both new and established writers find their voice.
Cironeās academic and creative journey shows her dedication to learning and expression. She earned undergraduate degrees in Italian Studies and Political Science, along with an MA in English Literature and Writing from Rosemont College. She later completed a dual MFA in Creative Writing, focusing on Poetry and Creative Nonfiction, at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Currently, Cirone is pursuing a PhD in Human Sexuality Studies at Widener University. She teaches high school English and lives in Upper Darby with her daughter, a Rosemont graduate, and two scholarly cats who often join her writing sessions.
What to Expect from the Small Fabric Workshop
The Small Fabric: Micro Poetry and Prose workshop invites participants to explore creativity through short literary forms. Drawing inspiration from Emily Dickinson and Sappho, attendees will study example works, discuss craft, and take part in guided writing exercises. Each writer will have time to create and share original pieces within a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

Rosemont College is excited to welcome T. Nicole Cirone, whose teaching reflects the collegeās dedication to creativity, scholarship, and community. This workshop gives writers an opportunity to refine their skills, connect with peers, and learn from an inspiring instructor.
