Rosemont College proudly announced the release of the latest issue of the student newspaper, Rambler, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Students picked up their copies in the Sharon Hirsh Community Center and enjoyed free doughnuts to celebrate the occasion. The photo was taken by Dr. Christine Hagedorn.
The Rambler once again showcased student voices through campus news, creative writing, and event coverage. Student journalists worked diligently to prepare articles that reflected the energy and perspectives of the Rosemont community. Their effort demonstrated a strong commitment to both storytelling and student engagement.
Celebrating Student Voices & Campus Life
The newspaper launch offered more than just reading material. It created a moment for students to connect, reflect on campus life, and celebrate the first full week of fall together. Many students stopped by to grab a copy and enjoy a treat, adding to the welcoming atmosphere in the community center.
Events That Encouraged Participation
In addition to the student newspaper release, the day included two major campus events. At 5:30pm, the ALPFA Resume Workshop took place in the Hirsh Community Center. Career advisors shared practical advice on resume writing and job preparation. Students who attended gained new strategies to strengthen their professional presence and boost their confidence.
Then at 7:00pm, the Rosemont Women’s Volleyball team competed at home. Many students gathered to support the Ravens, bringing strong energy and school spirit to the match. It served as a reminder of the importance of both athletic and academic involvement on campus.
Staying Informed & Engaged
Overall, the day reflected Rosemont College’s commitment to fostering a vibrant, connected student experience. From the launch of the student newspaper to the opportunities for learning and community building, students took full advantage of what the campus offered.
