Join us on Saturday, March 22 for this free event
Calling all writers, students, and creatives! Rosemont College invites you to join our Spring Write-a-Thon on Saturday, March 22, from 12:00 to 6:00 pm at Gertrude Kistler Memorial Library. Whether you are tackling a research paper, polishing a creative project, or making progress on your MFA/MA thesis, this event provides the perfect space to focus, connect, and write.
A Dedicated Space for Productivity
The Spring Write-a-Thon is designed to help writers of all backgrounds and disciplines make progress on their projects in a supportive environment. Bring your laptop, notebooks, and ideas, and settle in for an afternoon of focused writing surrounded by other writers working toward their goals.
Enjoy Snacks and Coffee While You Write
Writers need fuel, and we have got you covered! Complimentary snacks will be available and fresh coffee will be provided by the library. Take a break, chat with fellow writers, and return to your work feeling refreshed and motivated.
Open to All Writers
This event is free and open to the public. Whether you are a Rosemont student, an alum, a faculty member, or a local writer looking for a productive space, you are welcome to attend. The Write-a-Thon is a great opportunity to network with others who share a passion for writing.
The Rosemont Experience
At Rosemont, we believe that no matter what discipline you study, effective communication and problem solving are cornerstones to success. That’s why students take classes across multiple disciplines—to learn to approach complex situations from multiple angles. We also recognize the importance of real world experience in preparing you for a career. In fact, every student engages in at least one internship, volunteer effort, or service learning opportunity.
