Rosemont College is proud to highlight student participation in the 2026 Campus Philly Spring Career Fair, which was held on April 22nd. A group of Rosemont students traveled to the Barnes Foundation, where they had the exciting opportunity to network with employers and connect with peers from across the Philadelphia region.
Building Professional Connections
The Campus Philly Spring Career Fair created an environment where students could practice networking in real time. They met recruiters, explored internship pathways, and asked meaningful questions about career goals. In addition, students gained insight into various industries represented at the event. These interactions help students build confidence and meaningful connections.
A Thoughtful Approach to Career Development
Dr. Christine Hagedorn, who attended the Career Fair, shared an important perspective on student success. She emphasized that events like this are one part of a larger professional networking curriculum at Rosemont.
Rosemont encourages both large and small scale experiences. Together, these opportunities create a well rounded approach to career growth. Students build skills gradually, which leads to lasting confidence in navigating the career landscape.
Furthermore, this approach ensures that students do not wait until graduation to begin networking. Instead, they develop these skills early and continue refining them throughout their college journey.
“Last week I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Campus Philly Career Event with fellow students from Rosemont. During this event we were able to connect with national and regional employers like Comcast, PPD, Shipyard, and Lutron and schools of professional studies like the LeBow School of Business at Drexel and the Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences. Attending such a robust event like this is especially important to me as a rising senior who is seeking job placement. I also enjoy attending these events because it serves as a reminder that post secondary education is a privilege for many people – and we must make the most of it. Being in rooms with college students who are maximizing their time in college, and pushing themselves to their fullest potential is always wonderful to see. “

Preparing for Success Beyond Graduation
The Spring Career Fair reflects Rosemont’s commitment to career readiness. Events like this equip students with practical skills that employers value. They also encourage students to take initiative in shaping their futures.
Rosemont emphasizes that the time to build a professional network is now. From first year to senior year, students are encouraged to grow their connections and explore opportunities. This proactive mindset prepares them for success after graduation.
