Rosemont, PA- Rosemont College Athletics has named Nate Seidle as it’s next Head Men’s Volleyball Coach.
“We are excited to have Nate join us. His previous head coaching tenure was extremely successful and certainly something we would hope he is able to replicate here at Rosemont,” said Director of Athletics, Joe Pavlow.
Seidle joins Rosemont after being the head coach for Cairn University for the past 4 years. During his time as the men’s volleyball head coach, Seidle was named the 2020 conference coach of the year and took home the conference championship in 2021. Seidle graduated from Cairn in 2013. During his time as a student-athlete at Cairn, he was a contributing member on the men’s volleyball team while they were nationally ranked. Seidle got his first taste of coaching at his high school alma mater, Central Bucks West. Seidle has a Masters degree in education from Cairn in 2020. Nate and his wife Rachel live in Philadelphia.
“I am very excited to continue my coaching career at Rosemont College,” Seidle said. “I look forward to building a new volleyball program with the vision that Rosemont Athletics has for their athletes, of using volleyball to help my players become the best they can be on and off the court.”
The Men’s Volleyball program started competition in the “Covid” shortened spring of 2020. This past spring all competitions were postponed as a result of the pandemic’s impact on indoor gatherings. Rosemont and Seidle are eager to get things going again on the recruiting trail and on the court. Pavlow continued, “This is a really unique situation. The pandemic has reduced our previous volleyball efforts to a point where this is essentially a start-up program. With that in mind, we are very fortunate to have someone like Nate in charge, as he already has a blue print for success.
The Men’s Volleyball team will begin their competitive season in January of 2022 in the newly remolded Hirsh Community Center.
