Sean Gallagher earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Rosemont. After completing his undergraduate degree, Sean chose to continue his studies. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Legal Studies at PennWest University and expects to graduate in May 2026. His decision to continue his education demonstrates a strong belief in lifelong learning.

A Career in Law Enforcement

Sean Gallagher began his law enforcement career at the age of nineteen. Over the years, he has served in both patrol and investigative roles.

Since 2023, Sean has worked as a homicide detective for the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office Criminal Investigation Division. In this position, he plays a critical role in complex investigations that support justice and public safety. His work requires dedication, professionalism, and careful attention to detail.

Sean gained valuable experience while serving with the Darby Township Police Department. During his time there, he moved through the ranks from patrol officer to detective, ultimately attaining the rank of Detective Corporal. These roles helped him develop investigative skills and leadership experience.

Alongside his career in law enforcement, Sean Gallagher continues to pursue another meaningful goal. He hopes to become an adjunct professor in the future. Furthermore, his motivation comes from a desire to support the next generation of professionals.
