Rosemont College’s Student Academic Success Center (SASC) invites all students to explore academic support, upcoming workshops, and essential college deadlines through SASC News and Events. This initiative is designed to keep undergraduate and graduate students informed and engaged throughout the academic term.
Citations Workshops at the Ravens Nest: Snacks Provided
This fall, SASC will host a series of Citations Workshops at the Ravens Nest. These sessions will help students learn the most widely used academic citation styles. Light snacks will be available during each workshop.
Workshop schedule:
• APA Format: September 18th, 11:00am
• MLS Format: September 25th, 11:00am
• Chicago Format: October 2nd, 11:00am
Each workshop offers clear instruction, real examples, and time for questions. Students will leave with practical skills and stronger writing confidence. No registration is required.
Weekly Writing Support Available
SASC also offers writing assistance every Monday and Wednesday in the Science Building, Room 103. Professor Rissmiller, the college’s Writing Advisor, provides help with grammar, editing, formatting, and research. This service is open to all students and is especially useful during paper heavy parts of the semester.

Important Fall Term Dates to Remember
The UC Full Term runs from August 25 through December 8, 2025. Please review the following key academic dates:
• Drop or Add Deadline: September 2nd
• Last Day to Withdraw: November 21st
• Final Exams: December 10th – December 13th
For SGPS students, the Fall I and Fall II sessions follow these timelines:
• Fall I: August 25th – October 12th
• Fall II: October 13th – December 7th
Session I Deadlines:
• Add or Drop Ended: August 28th
• Withdraw Ends: October 3rd
Session II Deadlines:
• Add or Drop Ends: October 16th
• Withdraw Ends: October 21st
