Rosemont College extends warm wishes to all Jewish members of our community as Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown on Friday, September 11, 2026, and continues through Sunday, September 13, 2026, at sundown. This sacred occasion marks the Jewish New Year and the beginning of the High Holy Days, a time of self reflection, spiritual renewal, and community connection.
The Meaning of Rosh Hashanah commemorates the creation of the world and invites individuals to reflect on the past year, seek forgiveness, and set intentions for the year ahead.
Rosemont College proudly joins in honoring these meaningful traditions and the values of reflection, renewal, and hope that they represent.
A Community of Respect & Inclusion
As a Catholic institution that welcomes people of all faiths and beliefs, Rosemont is committed to fostering an inclusive campus environment where every tradition is respected, and every member of the community feels valued. Recognizing Rosh Hashanah is one way we honor the richness of spiritual life on campus and support our Jewish students, faculty, staff, and friends during this important time.
To all who are celebrating Rosh Hashanah, we wish you peace, renewal, and joy in the year ahead. May this sacred time bring sweetness, reflection, and strength to you and your loved ones.
