Rosemont, PA- Rosemont College has named Paul Fedele as the interim Golf Coach for the fall of 2021. Fedele takes the reigns of the golf program from John Manos who was at the helm since 2016. Manos accepted a position as the Head Men’s and Women’s coach at Drew University closer to his home in the Northern part of New Jersey. Fedele will watch over a program that has had a historic run of success as of late, winning every CSAC Championship since the 2017-18 season.
“We are happy for John, we want to thank him for building the program at Rosemont into a success. We wish him well at Drew. Because of the excellent job John did, the program is fortunate to have someone like Paul willing to step up and help guide the team through this transition. I am confident Paul will help provide the student-athlete experience to our golfers that we want as a part of the Rosemont Atheltic Department,” said Director of Athletics Joe Pavlow.
Coach Fedele was a four time letter winner and a member on all of the Rosemont golf teams that appeared in the NCAA Championship. The high water mark for Fedele was the 2018-19 season when he played to 79.1 scoring average. During the fall Fedele will focus on team practices at Radnor Valley Country Club, team qualifying and preparation for the first spring competing as members of the United East Conference.
The changes in the program’s leadership have forced changes to the fall schedule and those changes will all be finalized in the near future.
