February
Saturday, Feb. 8: Alumni Throwback Party at Kelly’s. Drink ticket and appetizers. 6:00-8:00 pm. $30.00 Register here.
All Month: Alumni Candy Gram Sale: This Valentine’s Day, why not send a sweet surprise that does good for both the heart and the community? Our Virtual Candy Grams are the perfect way to show your love to friends, fellow alumni, professors, or anyone who could use a little extra sweetness — all while supporting student scholarships and campus programs. March
Thursday, March 13: Alumni-Student Speed Networking! Join us in the Kistler Library for a Networking Social. See former professors and classmates, mingle over wine and cheese, and enjoy being back on campus. This event will give students the opportunity to meet Rosemont alumni and practice their networking skills with a round of “speed networking!” 6:00-8:00 pm. Register here.
Monday, March 24: Alumni are invited to a viewing of the award-winning documentary “How Saba Kept Singing” from 1:00-3:00 pm in the Sr. Mary George Community Room. This film tells the story of how David “Saba” Wisnia survived the Holocaust and how his journey back to Poland with his grandson, Avi, unlocks the secret about someone else who had a hand in his survival. There will be a Q&A session with Avi following the film. This is free and open to the public.
Tuesday, March 25: Seder Dinner, 5:30 pm. Sr. Mary George Community Room. The Seder is supported by the Ethel Levenson Fund for Jewish Studies. To register, email [email protected] by March 14th.
Thursday, March 27 & Friday March 28: Save the Date for Almost, Maine, Student Theater Production, Rotwitt Theater.
Friday, March 28: Providence Center kids on campus for a day of play and recreation. 2:00-5:00 pm. The Mission and Ministry Committee of the board recruits alumni to participate.
April
Thursday, April 8: Historical Tour of Main Building & Wine Reception-Alumni Founders Week event. Professor Michelle Moravec will guide you through Main building sharing its history and so much you probably didn’t know. Refreshments will follow. Register here.
May
Thursday, May 1: Golden Rose Mass & Luncheon. Invitations will be sent in March. The May Day tradition returned to campus last year so we hope you can join us for the celebration after lunch on Connelly Green.
Thursday, May 15: Commencement-Alumni volunteers welcome!
