Residence Life & Student Life
Rosemont College Student Affairs is pleased to share new developments in Residence Life and Student Life for this fall. Under the leadership of Yolanda Alovor, PhD, Vice President of Student Affairs, the department continues to offer programs that support the academic, professional, and social growth of all students.
Career Services Returns to Campus
This semester, Rosemont will relaunch its Career Services Department to support students, alumni, and local community members. The department will provide both in person and virtual services.
Career Services will offer personalized career coaching, resume and cover letter reviews, and interview preparation. Students will also benefit from LinkedIn profile guidance, professional headshots, and career workshops. These sessions will focus on job readiness, networking, and skill building.
A full schedule of events and appointments will be available soon. Career Services will help students at every stage prepare for internships, employment, and graduate study.
Celebrating Student Leaders & Campus Life
Student Affairs, which oversees Residence Life and Student Life, proudly recognizes Seleena Brown. She received RA Board of the Month for both August and September 2025. Seleena has demonstrated leadership, initiative, and a strong commitment to community building.
To bring students together, the department is planning several events. A key highlight is the Tie Dye War, scheduled for Friday, September 12 at 3:30pm on Connelly Green. This event, hosted with Student Engagement, will offer students an afternoon of fun, friendly competition, and connection.
Resident Life and Student Affairs at Rosemont College continues to focus on student success. Whether through career development, leadership recognition, or engaging campus events, the department supports a thriving and inclusive student experience.
