Rathalla Review strives to publish the finest fiction, flash fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and art. Our aim is to find work that is vulnerable and honest, personal yet universal, and sharply written. We are currently utilizing rolling submissions, with issues coming out twice a year in addition to our annual issue. Rathalla Review has first North American publication rights for one year, after which the rights revert back to the author. About Rathalla Review
Rathalla means “home of the chieftain upon the highest hill” in Gaelic. Rathalla Review was founded in the fall of 2012, and is named after the main building on Rosemont College’s campus.
Rathalla Review is the literary magazine published by the students of Rosemont College’s MFA in Creative Writing and MA in Publishing programs. Our mission is to give emerging and established writers and artists an outlet for their creative vision in our online and print publication. We publish the best fiction, creative nonfiction, flash fiction, poetry, and art selected from a nationwide community of writers and artists. Rathalla Review’s staff, comprised of MFA in Creative Writing and MA in Publishing candidates, merges the creative arts and the business of publishing into a shared voice and vision.
