Explore the World of Print Publication Design
The Print Publication Design workshop introduces students to the essential principles of creating materials for print. Participants will develop the skills to design booklets, brochures, posters, and marketing materials using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. The course is ideal for those who have completed Digital Design 1 (GPP 7345) or already have basic experience with these design tools.
Under the guidance of Nikko Marasheski, students will explore every step of the design process, from concept to final production. Lessons will include setting up files correctly, understanding print terminology, and preparing professional packages for export. Participants will also learn the difference between reader spreads and printer spreads, a vital concept for accurate print production.
