Youth Activism Remote Internship with TurnUp
Rosemont College is inviting students with an interest in activism, civic engagement, and politics to apply for an internship with the nonprofit TurnUp. The Youth Activism Internship is a fully remote position with additional optional in person events. This internship would pair nicely with a student who is studying political science.
The role will offer students hands on experience carting out voter registration, grassroots activism, research skills, and group collaboration. It is an excellent opportunity to add to a professional resume and will help expand a professional network further.
There is no set deadline for applying or beginning the internship, as TurnUp is flexible with start and end dates, as well as length of internship so long as there are open positions. There are flexible hours, ranging from 5 hours to 30 hours each week, for the intern to decide. TurnUp is also happy to count this internship for school credit, fulfilling the major requirement of an internship.
In depth information about this role can be found in this Google document. Any students that have questions are welcome to sign up for informational sessions with Nancy Shapiro, the Internship Director of TurnUp.
Any Student Interested in applying can do so through the TurnUp website with the Google Form application.
