It’s a beautiful time of year to celebrate the gift of God’s pets! Rosemont College is getting ready to host a very special event for Heritage Week that you won’t want to miss. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 8th at 12:00pm for the annual St. Francis of Assisi Pet Blessing. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the joy our pets bring into our lives.

Join us in the Sharon Latchaw Hirsh Community Center lobby for the event! Bring your beloved pet to receive a blessing from a member of the Rosemont community.

Does your pet gets a little nervous in crowds or is the time not workable for you? No problem! You and your pet can still participate in the Pet Blessing. Just email a photo of your pet to [email protected] by 10:00am on October 8th, the day of the event. We’ll print the photos and bless your pet(s) alongside the live ones.

This celebrates faith, community, nature, and the blessing of the bond we share with our animal companions. Whether you’re a student, faculty member, or a friend of Rosemont, come out and join us with your pet. It’s the perfect way to spend a fall afternoon, surrounded by friends, furry and otherwise, and beautiful scenery. We can’t wait to see you there!
