Rosemont College invites the entire campus community to the annual Opening Mass of the school year tomorrow, September 9th, at noon in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception. This traditional celebration marks the beginning of the academic year and offers a meaningful opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to gather in reflection and unity.
Fr. Dan Joyce from St. Joseph’s University will celebrate the Mass of the Holy Spirit with us. The Opening Mass is a time when the whole campus comes together to ask God’s blessing on the new academic year and on each member of the Rosemont community.
A Tradition of Welcome and Blessing
Each year, the Opening Mass sets a thoughtful tone for the months ahead. It is a moment to pause amid the energy of a new semester and seek blessing on teaching, learning, and the shared life of the campus. The celebration welcomes people of all faith traditions, as well as those who do not currently identify with a particular tradition.
Campus Ministry encourages everyone to take part. Whether you attend regularly or are joining for the first time, you will find a welcoming environment focused on community and hope for the year ahead.
