From cozy fall celebrations to exciting off campus trips, every event is designed to support student life. In fact, this month offers more chances than ever to step away from the classroom and connect with the Rosemont community.
October Events You Will Not Want to Miss
Oktoberfest & Family Weekend
- October 4th, 11:00am – 4:00pm, Connelly Green
- Join the Rosemont Community for the highly anticipated 2025 Oktoberfest and Family Weekend. Alumni, students, family and friends are welcome to this FREE event!
Bonfire Night
- October 9th, 6:30pm, Connelly Green
- Kick off the month with a classic fall tradition. Students can gather around the bonfire for music, snacks, and great conversation. This is a perfect opportunity to relax under the stars with friends.
Midterms Breakfast Giveaway
- October 13th, 9:30 – 11:00am, Community Center Lobby
- Fuel up for midterms with a free breakfast. The Office of Student Engagement will offer coffee and morning snacks to help students stay focused and energized during exam week.
Haunted House Trip
- October 17th, 7:00pm, Lincoln Mill Haunted House
- Get ready for a night of thrills. Students will travel to one of the area’s most popular haunted houses for an unforgettable experience. Make sure to reserve your spot early, as space is limited.
Fall Festivities Event
- October 23rd, 5:30pm, Raven’s Nest
- Celebrate autumn with seasonal games, crafts, music, and food. This event invites everyone to embrace the fun and beauty of fall with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Battle of the Buildings: Capture the Flag
- October 27th, 7:00pm, Connelly Green
- Wrap up the month with some friendly competition. Students will represent their residence halls in a lively game of Capture the Flag. Teamwork, energy, and school spirit will all be on display.
