Rosemont College invites the community to join a meaningful Memorial Walk at Calvary Cemetery on Friday October 24th, from 11:30am to 1:00pm. This reflective gathering will honor the lives and legacies of cherished Rosemont luminaries who helped shape the college’s mission of faith, service, and compassion. The Rosegrow students will be making bouquets from the marigolds in the Patrick Herman Garden to place on the grave sites.
Honoring Rosemont’s Legacy
The Memorial Walk celebrates remarkable individuals whose leadership and vision continue to inspire the Rosemont community. Those being remembered include:
- Sister Pauline McShain, SHCJ
- Henry Dagit
- Matthew McCloskey
- Father Richard Cannuli, OSA
Each of these figures contributed to the heart and growth of Rosemont College. Moreover, their dedication to education, creativity, and community remains an essential part of Rosemont’s identity. During the walk, attendees will have the opportunity to reflect on their influence and the enduring spirit they left behind.
