Rosemont College invites the entire campus community and admitted students to join us for May Day 2025, a cherished tradition that returned last year. May Day is a meaningful way to honor our heritage, bring people together, and showcase the spirit of Rosemont.
Event Details
Date: Thursday, May 1
Time: 3:00pm
Location: Kistler Memorial Library
Originally rooted in historic celebrations of spring and renewal, May Day at Rosemont holds a special place in our college’s legacy. After a long hiatus, the tradition was revived in 2024 and welcomed with warmth, energy, and student enthusiasm. This year, we are building on that success with an even more vibrant and engaging celebration.
May Day 2025 will feature the iconic Maypole dance, flower baskets, music, acrobatic performances, student presentations, and more.
The event is open to all students, faculty, staff, families, alumni, and friends of the College. Whether you are an incoming first-year or a longtime member of the Rosemont community, May Day is a time to celebrate unity and tradition in a fun and welcoming environment.
Sponsored by the Cultural Heritage Gallery and Friends of the Library.
