Meet Liz Abrams-Morley
Liz Abrams-Morley is a highly regarded poet, professor, and activist whose work resonates with emotional depth and lyrical beauty. Her newest collection is forthcoming from Seven Kitchens Press in 2026 after being named “Editor’s Prize” in the 2025 Keystone Poetry Contest. She is the author of Because Time (2024), Beholder (2018), Inventory (2014), and Necessary Turns (2010), which won an Eric Hoffer Award.
In 2020, she was named Passager Journal’s Passager Poet. In addition, her poems and stories have appeared in numerous national journals and anthologies and have been broadcast on NPR.
A former Rosemont faculty member, Liz brings warmth, wisdom, and practical teaching experience to every workshop she leads.
