Rosemont College announces an upcoming Alumni Career Connections program titled Interview Like a Pro; Do’s, Don’ts & Tips. This event supports student career growth through alumni mentorship and practical guidance.
The Interview Like a Pro event will take place on February 25, 2026 at 4:00pm in the Kistler Library. Students from all majors are encouraged to attend. The session offers direct insight from a Rosemont alumna with extensive professional experience.
Building Confidence for Career Success
This career connections event focuses on helping students prepare for job interviews with confidence and clarity. Participants will learn how to present their skills effectively and explore ways to communicate professionalism.
The program highlights common interview mistakes and strategies to avoid them. In addition, students will gain tips to answer questions throughout the interviewing process. These skills support success in internships, graduate programs, and full time roles.
Alumni Leadership & Mentorship
The session is hosted by Nichole Birmingham, class of 2017. Nichole returns to campus to support current Ravens as they prepare for professional life. She values mentorship and believes strongly in giving back to the Rosemont community.
Nichole earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Leadership through the SGPS program. She brings more than twenty one years of experience at a Fortune 500 company. During her career, she hired and managed professionals at many career stages. In 2024, Nichole founded Nichole Birmingham Coaching LLC. Through this work, she helps women build confidence and direction.
A Strong Network Through Alumni Relations
Rosemont College Alumni Relations plays a vital role in supporting students and graduates. The team is led by Director Jenn Thorpe ‘93, and together, they work to keep the Rosemont spirit strong long after graduation.
Alumni can mentor students, volunteer their time, or reconnect with classmates. In addition, they enjoy benefits such as career support, library access, facility rentals, and special discounts. These opportunities strengthen both personal and professional connections.
