Rosemont College students now have access to a dynamic internship opportunity with Prep Baseball Northeast. This leading amateur baseball event and scouting organization is accepting applications for both Spring (January through mid April) and Summer (late May through August) internship terms. Students interested in sports, event operations, media, or analytics will find this opportunity highly valuable for career preparation.
Founded in 2009, Prep Baseball Northeast has become a trusted name in player development and college exposure. The company hosts showcase events and operates one of the largest amateur baseball social media platforms in the region. Interns will gain direct experience in live events, digital content, and data driven baseball operations.
Internship Details
This internship opportunity is ideal for students studying Sport Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, Physical Education, Exercise Science, or related fields.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing event logistics
- Creating digital content including graphics and videos
- Entering and analyzing data
- Supporting baseball scouting and technology operations
- Writing game summaries or player reports
- Strengthening communication and problem solving skills
Interns must be well organized, goal oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Some knowledge of baseball is preferred but not required. Travel is required for most event assignments.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be actively working toward a college degree
- Have completed a minimum of 120 credit hours
- Hold a high school diploma
- Be proficient with Google Drive, especially Sheets and Docs
- Demonstrate a strong interest in sports and media
Students should be prepared to contribute in fast paced environments while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Compensation
Interns receive:
