Beginning in Fall 2026, Rosemont College will launch High Impact Fridays, a new initiative designed to create exciting opportunities for students to connect, explore, learn, and engage beyond the traditional classroom. The goal is to provide students with engaging experiences that foster personal growth, professional development, community connection, and real world learning.
What Are High Impact Fridays?
Every Friday, students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of voluntary activities and experiences designed to enhance campus life, build community, and make the most of their college experience by going beyond the classroom. Programs will be developed by faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners and will be open to all members of the Rosemont community.
No two Fridays will look the same.
Students may find themselves exploring a museum, visiting the Philadelphia Zoo, attending a professional networking event, participating in a service project, hearing from an inspiring guest speaker, attending a wellness retreat, taking part in a creative workshop, touring a local business, or simply enjoying a unique experience with classmates and friends.
High Impact Fridays are about discovering new interests, making meaningful connections, and creating memories that last long after graduation.
What Can Students Expect?
High Impact Fridays may include:

Learning Through Experience
High Impact Fridays reflect Rosemont College's commitment to providing students with meaningful opportunities to learn through experience. Whether participating in a service project, exploring a museum, visiting a business or nonprofit organization, engaging with alumni and industry leaders, or attending a workshop or cultural event, students will have opportunities to connect ideas with action and gain new perspectives on the world around them.
These experiences complement and enrich a Rosemont education by helping students build confidence, develop practical skills, expand professional networks, and discover new interests. Through High Impact Fridays, students will engage with their communities, explore potential career paths, and develop the adaptability, curiosity, and critical thinking skills that are essential for success in today's world.
By connecting learning with lived experience, High Impact Fridays will become an integral part of the Rosemont student experience and further strengthen the College's tradition of preparing graduates for meaningful lives, rewarding careers, and thoughtful leadership.
Rosemont College High Impact Fridays
Rosemont College launched "High Impact Fridays" in Fall of 2026. It is a voluntary initiative offering diverse experiential learning opportunities outside the traditional classroom. Each week features unique activities designed to foster personal growth, career development, and community connection. Ultimately, the program enriches the Student Life experience by connecting academic concepts with real-world practice and preparing graduates for leadership and rewarding careers. Examples include the American Revolution Museum, the Doylestown Cultural District and the 9/11 Memorial at the McKaig Nature Center.
