We love to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students here at Rosemont College! Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Gunner Hoffman, a dedicated student whose hard work and commitment have earned him a place on the President’s List.
Meet Gunner Hoffman
Gunner is pursuing a BS in Accounting and a BS in Finance. When asked about his favorite course, Gunner enthusiastically shared, “My favorite course was advanced accounting. It was a group of like-minded individuals who I’ve been working with throughout my accounting degree. We were able to learn together and take on this challenging course. The professor also helped create this sense of community throughout the course.”
Why Rosemont?
“I was lucky to find Rosemont College by being recruited to play soccer,” says Gunner. “But the reason I continued to thrive is the Rosemont community. Knowing everyone on campus was a constant reminder that I wasn’t alone in this journey, and that allowed me to continue to push through my education and gain my degree.”
Beyond the Classroom
Gunner isn’t just excelling academically; he’s also a committed athlete! He’s actively involved in both Men’s Golf and Men’s Soccer. In addition to his studies and sports, Gunner is diving into the professional world. He’s starting as an external auditor at S.R. Snodgrass in July.
Shaping the Future
Looking ahead, Gunner has a clear vision for his impact on the world. “The impact I would like to have on the world after graduation would be to share my experiences with similar individuals and help guide them and teach them the lessons I have learned and give back what I never had as a youth or young adult.”
Words of Inspiration
Gunner expressed his gratitude, saying, “I would like to thank all of my professors at Rosemont College, especially Professor Hagedorn and Professor Shea, for the guidance and support to help me achieve the success I was able to get. I would also like to thank all of my coaches that helped mentor me into the person I am today.”
