Rosemont invites the community to take part in a meaningful holiday tradition that supports St. Francis Inn. We encourage everyone to visit the lobby and take part in our seasonal effort to decorate and donate with new socks for those in need. The Giving Tree will stand in the lobby of the Hirsh Community Center from December 1 through Friday December 19.
The Giving Tree
The tree will serve as a daily reminder of how small acts of generosity can create a larger impact. St. Francis Inn welcomes essential items during the winter months. New socks are a necessity that many of us may not think about but are needed. Your contribution will offer comfort to those who rely on this important effort.
All Welcome to Donate
We welcome students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of Rosemont to help fill the tree with new socks of all colors and sizes. Each pair of new socks placed on the branches becomes part of a display that grows brighter with every donation. The sight of the decorated tree encourages others to participate. It also strengthens our shared commitment to service.
Remember the Tree When Christmas Shopping
Please keep the Giving Tree in mind as you complete your Christmas shopping. Adding new socks to your list is simple and meaningful. This small gesture can create joy for someone you may never meet. The act of giving offers a chance to reflect on the true spirit of the season.
Socks Are Donated to St. Francis Inn
Collected new pairs of socks will go to St. Francis Inn on December 19. This delivery will bring the project to a close and will highlight our commitment to those in need. The support shown each year reflects the mission and values that guide Rosemont.
We invite you to take part in this effort. Decorate and donate new socks and help us share warmth with those who need it most. Your kindness will make a difference and will brighten the season for many.
