Biography
Dr. Yolanda Alovor was appointed Vice President of Student Affairs at Rosemont College in the summer of 2025, returning to the institution where she previously served as Chief of Staff and Vice President for Diversity and Belonging.
Her career spans higher education, industry, and nonprofit sectors, with a focus on organizational strategy, leadership development, and applied research. Dr. Alovor has led campus-wide initiatives that improve student outcomes, promote belonging, and align institutional practices with data-informed decision-making.
Known for her human-centered approach, she is committed to cultivating environments where students can thrive both personally and academically.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Alovor enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her son, a mechanical engineer who continues to inspire her dedication to service and lifelong learning.
