Biography

Susan DiGironimo ‘18, is a Philadelphia-area educator, artist, freelance designer, illustrator, and a certified expert in the digital platform in graphic arts applications.

Susan has been teaching at Rosemont College at the undergraduate and graduate levels for over 30 years. She still teaches in Rosemont’s publishing program where she won the Distinguished Teaching at the Graduate Level Award in 2011. Susan has served as the Thesis Advisor to more than 50 students in the Graduate Publishing Program over the past 15 years. 

In 2012, she joined the Rosemont community full-time as Rosemont’s Director of Graphic Services. In this role, she oversees the branding of the College and designs all print and digital pieces including materials for admissions, advertising, brochures, campus flyers, fundraising solicitations, postcards, viewbooks, and more. Susan has won multiple Gold Higher Education Marketing Awards for her graphic design work for Rosemont College.

Over the years, Susan has also served on many campus committees for strategic planning, admissions, and branding.

Susan is also an accomplished painter and illustrator. She has exhibited her work locally, including most recently at the College’s Designing Women Exhibition, which featured Rosemont alumni, faculty, and staff in 2023.

As a certified corporate trainer, Susan also helps artists in the corporate environment stay competitive in a dynamically changing profession. In addition to Rosemont and creating her own digital work, Susan has taught digital design at other area art colleges and universities.

Susan earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration from Moore College of Art and her Master of Science in education from Rosemont College.
