Student Government
All Welcome to Participate in Student Government
All matriculated students at Rosemont are automatically members of the student government and eligible to vote in student elections. The Student Government Association (SGA) represents student opinion and shares in the college governance system.
SGA meets monthly to review student opinions and concerns, plan events, appoint student representatives, and suggest changes in policy to appropriate college offices and committees.
Each class elects four officers annually to form the Class Council, which conducts class meetings at least once a month and meets regularly to coordinate activities of their respective classes. The Class Council officers are the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Upperclassmen officers are elected in the spring for the following year, while first year officers are elected in September. Anyone can and is encouraged to run for a spot on their Class Council!
