Biography
Professor Mark Monroe is a police officer employed by the Willistown Township Police Department in Chester County, PA. Mark has been a police officer since 2006 and before his law enforcement career; he served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps. While serving in the Marine Corps, Mark served one combat tour of duty in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Mark is currently assigned to the patrol division and is responsible for the in-car and body-worn video camera program at the department. He is one of two less-lethal force instructors for the department and is certified to teach the proper use of the Taser, police baton, and Oleoresin Capsicum Spray, handcuffing, and defensive tactics. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Rosemont College and a Master of Arts in Homeland Security and Emergency Management from Rosemont College.
