Biography
Tim Jackson’s teaching and research interests include poetry, the English Renaissance, Modernism, literature & religion, book history, writing, and archival studies.
While focusing on poetry, he earned a Ph.D. in editorial studies from the Editorial Institute at Boston University, an M.A. in English from Bridgewater State University, and a B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
As a CLIR (Council on Library and Information Resources) Fellow at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he served as an assistant editor of the Walt Whitman Archive and was the initial executive editor of Zea E-Books.
His professional experience includes editing text for traditional and digital publications in a variety of fields, such as poetry, philosophy, and business.
Trained as a scholarly editor, he has edited two books of writings by American poet Edna St. Vincent Millay: Selected Poems of Edna St. Vincent Millay: An Annotated Edition (Yale UP, 2016) and Into the World’s Great Heart: Selected Letters of Edna St. Vincent Millay (Yale UP, 2023). His current book project, with Broadview Press, is an edition of Anna Katharine Green’s detective novel The Leavenworth Case.
