Biography

Dr. Alessandri is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Rosemont College. Dr. Alessandri has worked as a clinical psychologist and has held academic, research, and clinical appointments at several universities, medical schools, and mental health settings. He has written numerous scholarly papers and publications in the areas of child development, psychopathology, and education. Dr. Alessandri has over 25 years of clinical experience providing psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults.

Areas of Expertise:  Child and Adolescent Psychopathology (e.g., Autism, Eating Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Conduct Disorders, Schizophrenia); The Impact of Child Abuse and the Development of Maltreated Children; The Development of Infants Exposed to Toxins In-Utero, and Psychological Assessment of Academic Problems in Children
