Biography
Adam Lusk is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Sustainability Studies at Rosemont College, where he also serves as the Director of the Center of Teaching and Learning. He is also the Discipline Coordinator for Political Science and Sustainability Studies departments, and the advisor for the Pre Law and International Studies programs.
He is the author of Rhetoric, Media and the Narratives of US Foreign Policy (Routledge 2022), which studies the process of communicating threats to the US public and explores when and why the American public believes another country or regime is a threat. He is currently researching the relationship between world politics and the wildlife trade, examining the security and governance of nonhuman species and their representations in international relations. He also publishes about pedagogy and active learning in the classroom.
