Cardinal Dining Hall

Our premier dining location in the Sharon Hirsh Community Center serves breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekdays and brunch and dinner on weekends. Our all you care to eat buffet features an expansive soup and salad bar, homestyle “comfort” foods, brick oven pizzas, vegan and gluten free entrées, and more!

Need to take something to go? There are a variety of fresh grab and go sandwiches, salads, sides, and beverages ready to carry out at a moment’s notice!

Cardinal Kiosk

Expanded Kiosk located at the entrance of Cardinal Dining Hall, our kiosk offers a variety of On the Go! meal bundles for students, staff, and faculty looking for a quick and delicious meal to take to go. Kiosk open when dining hall is open.

Meal Plans

Our meal plans are designed to ensure students are fueled both physically and mentally for success inside and outside of the classroom. Students living on campus are required to be on a meal plan each semester and will make their selection when signing up for housing.

All meal plans are valid for a full semester. Commuter students are also encouraged to purchase a meal plan so they can enjoy the value, convenience, and variety of our campus dining options!

Meal plan packages are available and custom designed for both on campus and commuting students. There are two on campus meal plans: a 19 swipe meal plan and a 14 swipe meal plan, both of which offer Flex Dollars that can be used in the Cardinal Dining Room and the Raven’s Nest. Commuters can buy meals in blocks of 50, 75, or 125, with each package including Flex Dollars.

Meal Plan Terms

Flex Dollars are included with our resident meal plans and can be used to purchase retail meals, snacks, and drinks from The Raven’s Nest or guest meals in the dining hall. Unused Flex Dollars expire at the end of each semester. Meal Swipes are used for access to Cardinal Dining Hall for an all you care to eat meal experience.

Meal swipes can also be used for a bundled meal combo from the Raven’s Nest. The weekly allotment resets every Tuesday morning and any unused meals from the previous week will expire.

Sustainability Initiatives

FarmSource® is an initiative to find and partner with some of the best growers and producers of food in our communities. Through FarmSource®, 20% of the food for your dining program is provided by local sources within 100 miles of our kitchens. We also make conscious efforts to reduce our impact on the environment around us by introducing programs that reduce single use plastic waste, convert spent fryer oil into biodiesel fuel, and allow for composting of preand post consumer food waste where possible.

Allergies & Dietary Needs

We want our guests to feel confident that their special dietary needs are supported. We offer a variety of food options for special diets, including for guests with food allergies. We make every effort to provide helpful information, assistance, and customized meal options to ensure everyone has a seat at our table.
