Either way, the BA program’s focus on the theoretical elements of Sociology makes it a smart choice. - Bachelor of Science: This program combines courses in social theory and research with classes that cover criminal justice and clinical Sociology—ideal for students who wish to explore what the field has to offer, or those who could see themselves making a difference in case management, victims’ services, or criminal justice.
- Bachelor of Science, Clinical Track: With an emphasis on social analysis and problem solving in family, business, community, and public service issues, this track prepares students to effectively work with clients. Graduates often advance to master’s or doctoral studies in clinical or applied sociology, while others pursue careers in counseling, business, law, social work, and human resources.

Accelerated Three Year Degree Eligibility & Requirements
Candidates for the three year program should have a minimum high school GPA of 3.50 and a combined Math and Critical reading SAT score of 1100. See more below and discuss with your advisor.
• Students take fifteen credits in their first semester
• Eighteen credits in subsequent semesters
• Attend two summer sessions after the first and second years (unless transferring AP/IB credits or other college credits eliminating one or both summer sessions).
