Earn your BA in Biology at Rosemont College before completing your Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, PCOM.
PCOM considers Rosemont College students during their senior year. Applicants must earn an overall and science GPA of 3.5, a minimum MCAT composite score of 504, and at least 126 in each individual section of the exam.

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Admission Requirements
Applicants will be accepted into the DO Program if they satisfy the eligibility requirements and are interviewed and accepted by PCOM’s Faculty Committee on Admissions. The Faculty Committee on Admissions at PCOM will consider applicants who meet the following criteria:
a) The candidate must complete the undergraduate course requirements as listed in PCOM’s catalog;
b) The candidate must have earned (on the 4.0 grading system) a cumulative and science grade point average of at least 3.75 through the end of the sophomore year at Rosemont Colege for the 3+4 program or a grade point average of 3.50 through the end of junior year for the 4+4 program as calculated by AACOMAS.
c) For the 4+4 program, the candidate must take the Medical College Admissions Test as early as possible but no later than the Fall of the senior year. The candidate must earn a minimum score of a 504 composite with a 126 in each section of the MCAT; for the 3+4 program, the candidate must take the Medical College Admissions Test no later than the first available date in June. The candidate must earn a minimum score of a 504 composite with a 126 in each section of the MCAT.
d) The candidate must also submit an application to PCOM through AACOMAS no later than October 31 st of the senior year and submit the PCOM Supplemental Application (with application fee) no later than November 30 th of the senior year; and
e) Candidate must demonstrate an understanding and commitment to osteopathic medicine.
f) The candidate must be a US citizen or permanent resident (green card holder) at the time of application submission.
