In fact, 100% of our qualified science students are accepted to medical or osteopathic school. Premedical Post Baccalaureate Certificate Program
Rosemont College’s Premedical Post Baccalaureate Certificate is designed to prepare students to enter graduate or professional school programs in the health care fields. This program serves two groups of students: Career Changers and/or Record Enhancers. Students in the program receive one on one advising throughout the course of study to assist with course selection and professional school applications. This Premedical Post Baccalaureate Certificate serves two groups of students: career changers and/or record enhancers:
Career Changer
This program is ideal for students who have not yet taken the science courses necessary for graduate or professional school programs in medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, physician assistant, or any other professional health program.
Record Enhancer
This program allows students who have previously taken science courses to retake those in which they desire to improve their GPA, and also to prepare for the entrance examinations.

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Partner: Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM)
Program: 4 + 4 (Bachelor + DO)
The affiliated PCOM Rosemont College Education curriculum is a traditional academic program (4+4) that requires students to complete four years of medical education at PCOM. Students must complete all requirements for the Bachelor of Science degree at Rosemont before entering PCOM following their senior year. Applicants will be accepted into the program if they meet the eligibility requirements, are recommended for admission by Rosemont’s prehealth advisors, and are interviewed and accepted by PCOM’s Faculty Committee on Admissions. Nursing School Opportunity
Rosemont College is proud to partner with Drexel University in helping students meet their educational goals. Graduates of Drexel’s ACE program pass the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) at a rate of 97-100%. Take advantage of Rosemont’s exclusive partnership with Drexel’s College of Nursing and Health Professions. Rosemont students who apply to Drexel University’s Accelerated Career Entry (ACE) program and meet the program’s requirements are guaranteed admission*. Nursing Accelerated Career Entry (ACE) BSN Program
Partner: Drexel University
Program: 4 + 1 (Bachelor + BSN)
Biology majors at Rosemont College can prepare for a career in healthcare by applying to Drexel University’s Accelerated Career Entry (ACE) program through the College of Nursing and Health Professions. Rosemont’s joint program with Drexel allows ten students per year who have earned a bachelor’s degree from Rosemont to be admitted into the 11 month ACE program at Drexel, leading to a BSN. Doctoral Partnership Programs
Rosemont College is proud to partner with Saint Joseph’s University and Salus at Drexel University in helping students meet their educational goals. This affiliation agreement assures acceptance into either the Saint Joseph’s University, or Salus at Drexel University programs listed if a student meets all the academic and other defined criteria. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
Partner: Saint Joseph’s University
Program: 3 + 2.5 (Bachelor + Doctorate)
Rosemont College has a joint program with Saint Joseph’s University that allows students to earn both a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Rosemont and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Saint Joseph’s in six years following high school graduation. Eligible students spend the first three years at Rosemont, then matriculate to Saint Joseph’s University for the three professional years of the DPT program. Students will receive their BA in Biology from Rosemont upon successful completion of all requirements while matriculated at Saint Joseph’s University. Doctor of Optometry (OD)
Partner: Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) at Salus at Drexel University
Program: 3 + 4 or 4 + 4 Traditional Program (Bachelor + Doctorate)
Complete either a traditional program or an accelerated 3 + 4 year program at Rosemont before matriculating to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO), earning both a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree. Doctor of Audiology (AuD)
Partner: Salus at Drexel University
Program: 4 + 2Â (Bachelor + Doctorate)
Qualify for a four year residential program that prepares graduates to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with hearing and balance disorders. Speak to Admissions or your advisor about the program and see the Course Catalog for details.
Master Degree Partnership Programs
Rosemont students have the opportunity to secure either a guaranteed interview or a reserved seat in one of the prestigious partnership programs at Salus at Drexel University. This partnership allows qualified students to apply for an advanced degree at Salus at Drexel University upon completing a bachelor’s degree at Rosemont, provided they meet the admission and prerequisite requirements. Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant (MMS)
Partner: Salus at Drexel University
Program: 4 + 2 (Bachelor + Master Program)
Prepare for one of the fastest growing professions in the country through this full time, 25 month Physician Assistant program. Speak to Admissions or your advisor about the program and see the Course Catalog for details.
Master of Science, Occupational Therapy (MSOT)
Partner: Salus at Drexel University
Program: 4 + 2 (Bachelor + Master Program)

Master of Education, Blindness and Visual Impairment (TVI)
Partner: Salus at Drexel University
Program: 4 + 2 (Bachelor + Master Program)

Master of Science, Low Vision Rehabilitation (LVR)
Partner: Salus at Drexel University
Program: 4 + 2 (Bachelor + Master Program)
Attain a Master of Science (MS) degree and participate in certificate programs that prepare professionals in rehabilitation, eye care, education, and other related fields to work more effectively in clinical rehabilitation and educational settings with people who have low vision. Master of Science, Orientation and Mobility (O&M)
Partner: Salus at Drexel University
Program: 4 + 2 (Bachelor + Master Program)
Become an Orientation and Mobility specialist to teach both children and adults with blindness or vision impairments critical skills to remain oriented in their environment, as well as specific mobility skills to travel safely, efficiently, and independently within the home, at school, at work, and in the community. Master of Science, Vision Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT)
