Cross Registration
Rosemont College Cross Registration Partnerships
The Undergraduate College: Traditional, On Campus
As a full time undergraduate student at Rosemont, you may cross register at several affiliated institutions. Please see the Registrar’s Office for assistance.
The cross registration program provides you with the opportunity to take classes at partnering colleges and universities. As per Rosemont College’s inter institutional cooperative agreements with other institutions of higher learning, full time undergraduate students may register for courses at other schools.
There’s no additional tuition or fees associated with cross registering, except for special or extra fees that are part of the course (lab fees are one example).
Cross Registration Details
- To qualify for courses at the listed institutions, students must be registered full time in the Traditional Undergraduate College, and have completed at least one year as a full time student.
- The course chosen should not be offered at Rosemont during the same semester and will not apply to accelerated or weekend courses, independent study, tutorials, internships, practicum, field experience, student teaching, or to per credit hour or graduate courses.
- Students can take no more than one course per semester, beginning the semester after their first full year completed at Rosemont; the arrangement is only in effect during the Fall and Spring semesters.
- The grade, quality points, and credits earned in these courses are recorded on Rosemont students’ transcripts and will affect their semester and cumulative grade point average.
- Rosemont students enrolled in courses at these institutions are subject to the calendar, schedule, and regulations of the institutions. It is the student’s responsibility to identify and follow all guidelines. On issues of academic honesty, policies of the host institution will prevail.
- Students are responsible for all travel to and from the partner institution.
Additional Restrictions
Only ten students may attend University of the Sciences in any given semester. Additionally, students earning a grade below a 2.0 will not be allowed to continue taking courses.
How to Register
Complete the Cross Registration form found in either the Registrar’s Office or SASC and return it to the Registrar’s Office. The staff there will work with the other institutions to determine course availability and complete the registration. Courses at other institutions will be displayed on the students’ transcripts in the term the course is taken.
