As a Criminology major, you’ll learn the origins and forms of crime, explore its causes and consequences, and gain a deep understanding of the social institutions and processes that influence both violent and nonviolent criminal behaviors. You will also study the impact of inequality in the criminal justice system and the history of mass incarceration in the United States, all while developing expert research and analytic skills.

Get Two Degrees in Five Years
Criminology majors at Rosemont have the opportunity to start taking graduate level courses in Homeland Security and Emergency Management as early as their junior year. This unique 4+1 degree program enables students to earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in just five years, saving time and money while providing advanced preparation for the workforce. Interested students can apply for this program through the standard undergraduate application process. If they meet the program requirements, they can submit an application form available on iWay before their junior year.
