The BS in Criminal Justice places an emphasis on current issues including strong professional ethics, balanced social justice for all, and restorative justice practices. Coursework is designed to improve written, oral and critical thinking skills that are essential for the success of criminal justice practitioners in the 21st Century. Throughout Program, students receive a Cornelian perspective in both the administration and adjudication of justice that reflects the College’s mission in developing the ability to make reasoned moral decisions and a sense of responsibility to serve others in our global society.

Our faculty of master practitioners bring real world experience into the classroom, giving you just the edge you need for professional success. Transfer up to 45 credits, including credit for police academy, prior college credit, professional licenses and or certificates (FBI National Academy, FBI LEEDA, POSIT, DHS/FEMA Training), or other work experience.

Get Two Degrees in Five or Six Years

Criminal Justice majors at Rosemont have the opportunity to start taking graduate level courses in Homeland Security and Emergency Management as early as their junior year. This unique 4+1 degree program enables students to earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in just five years, saving time and money while providing advanced preparation for the workforce. Interested students can apply for this program through the standard undergraduate application process. If they meet the program requirements, they can submit an application form available on iWay before their junior year.
