Spotlight on the Challenger Division
Challenger Day shines a spotlight on the Challenger Division of Little League, which was established in 1989. This division was created to give individuals with intellectual and developmental challenges the chance to enjoy the game of baseball in a supportive environment. For the past several years, the Rosemont Baseball team has built strong bonds with the Lower Merion Little League Challenger Program through fall clinics. On April 17th, the Challenger players will visit the Ravensā home field for the very first time, making this a historic and emotional afternoon for everyone involved.
Celebrating Foundersā Week
Sunday, April 12th through Saturday, April 18th, Rosemont College celebrates Foundersā Week 2026. Foundersā Week is a cherished tradition that honors the institutionās rich heritage and mission. A special tribute to Rosemontās first baseball team will be shared at the game as well.Ā

Women's Baseball History in the Making at Rosemont
Rosemont is helping to write a new chapter for women in baseball thanks to freshman Gisella "Gigi" Schiano who is the first woman ever to play on the Men's Baseball team at Rosemont (the team just secured the first win of their final NCAA III season yesterday, March 1, 2026), and who has already been drafted into the Women's Pro Baseball League -- the first professional women's baseball league to exist in 70 years!
