Rosemont College invites students to take part in the upcoming Career Development Forum, hosted by uCity Square in Philadelphia. The event takes place on November 19 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Quorum, 3675 Market Street, Suite 200. This exciting forum gives students the chance to explore career paths, build connections, and gain valuable professional experience.
Empowering the Next Generation of STEM Professionals
The Career Development Forum empowers emerging professionals to shape their future in STEM fields. It welcomes students and entry level professionals who want to grow in science (including biology or chemistry), technology, engineering, and mathematics. The event combines learning, networking, and skill building, offering participants real opportunities to strengthen their professional foundation.
Students can meet hiring companies, connect with industry leaders, and gain insight from experts across different scientific careers. Several panels feature professionals who share their personal career journeys, showing the many paths available in STEM. Each conversation helps students understand the strategies and decisions that lead to long term success.
Building Skills for the Future
Attendees will participate in resume consulting, mock interviews, and small group discussions with experienced career coaches. Career advisors will provide direct feedback, helping participants improve their confidence and refine their communication skills. These activities prepare students for real world experiences and give them a competitive advantage in the job market.
Networking plays a key role throughout the event. Students meet local professionals, mentors, and peers who share their interests and ambitions. By the end of the day, participants gain new insights, build meaningful connections, and leave with a clearer vision for their future careers.
Collaboration for Career Success
Penn Career Services, Drexel Career Services, Campus Philly, and the Keystone Life Sci Collaborative partner to make this forum possible. Their shared commitment to student success creates an environment that promotes growth, opportunity, and learning.
