Rosemont College Campus Ministry is pleased to share important Campus Ministry September 8, 2026 Updates as the new academic year continues. From seasonal observances to community gatherings and ongoing resources, there are several meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to engage in the weeks ahead.
Season of Creation Begins
The Season of Creation began on September 1st and continues through the Feast of St. Francis on Sunday, October 4th. Rosemont joins Christian churches throughout the world in observing this special time focused on care for creation. This year’s theme is “Living Water.”Campus Ministry encourages the community to watch for related events on campus during the coming weeks. The Season of Creation offers a valuable opportunity for reflection, education, and shared commitment to environmental stewardship.
Mass of the Holy Spirit
Our traditional Mass of the Holy Spirit will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 9th at noon in the Chapel. This year, Campus Ministry is offering a special blessing on the entire Rosemont College community. All are welcome to attend, regardless of faith tradition or whether you identify with a particular faith background.
This gathering provides a meaningful moment at the start of the academic year to come together and ask God’s blessing on our teaching and learning. Classes will not be held between 11:50am and 1:00pm so that everyone has the opportunity to participate in this celebration.
Food Pantry Relocation & Prayer Room
As part of these Campus Ministry September Updates, please note that the Food Pantry has recently been moved to the Ravens’ Nest. This new location is intended to make the resource more accessible for students in need. Community members are encouraged to take note of the updated space.
In addition, the Prayer Room continues to be located on the second floor of the Library. It remains available as a quiet space for reflection, prayer, and personal pause during the busy semester.
Staying Connected with Campus Ministry
Furthermore, Campus Ministry remains open and welcoming to the entire Rosemont community. Whether you are seeking spiritual support, opportunities for service and reflection, or simply a place to belong, there are many ways to get involved this fall.
Moreover, we invite everyone to take part in the Mass of the Holy Spirit, follow the Season of Creation observances, and make use of available resources such as the Food Pantry and Prayer Room. Together, these offerings help foster a campus culture of care, reflection, and community.
The Rosemont Experience
