Life Lessons

Lynn Rothenhoefer - August 14, 2017

I’ve been doing my job for some time. Going into my 18th year at Rosemont in fact. One of my strengths is preparedness. As good as I’ve gotten at “flying by the seat of my pants,” I am by nature a prepared person. I have learned to be prepared generally gives you the ability to anticipate things (good or bad), and allows for greater flexibility and capability in dealing with those things that don’t go quite as planned. So, despite my experience and preparedness, even I was caught off guard by the amount of changes that occurred especially this summer but even within the last year.

Camp Twitch and Shout 2017

Sarah Schork - August 08, 2017

On our first day of training, counselors were told, “At the end of the day, they’re just kids.” Camp Twitch and Shout is a place where kids are honest, straightforward and quirky. You know, they’re the type of kids who scare us half to death with their ideas and their sassiness. Almost like us a short time ago. Like all kids.

#ByeRoCo

Elizabeth Bolton - April 11, 2017

Rosemont College has been my home for the past four years. I am still in disbelief that in just a few weeks I will receive my Bachelor’s Degree. As a freshman, I honestly never thought this day would come. I can remember the seniors that year telling me how fast it all went, and I did not believe them until now. Alongside my friends I have created memories that will stay with me forever. My college experience would not have been the same, if it weren’t for the people I met here.
