Rosemont College is pleased to announce an upcoming alumni career workshop focused on Building a Resume. This virtual event will take place on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 6:00pm on Zoom. The session will feature guidance from two experienced professionals who bring valuable insight into the hiring process.
The Building a Resume workshop will be led by Rosemont alumna Jennifer Beronio from the Class of 1985 and human resources professional Marissa Tedeschi. Together they will share strategies that help students and young professionals create strong and organized resumes. Their experience in recruitment and talent development will provide practical advice for those preparing to enter the workforce.

Learn from Experienced Human Resources Leaders
Jennifer Beronio graduated from Rosemont College with a degree in Sociology and a concentration in Business. She has remained an active member of the Rosemont community for many years. Jennifer joined the Rosemont College Alumni Board of Trustees in 2018 and currently serves as President Elect alongside President Eileen Finn.
Jennifer has built a successful career in human resources across several organizations. She currently serves as the Human Resources Manager at The Calais School in New Jersey. The Calais School is a state approved private special education school that supports students with diverse learning needs.
In addition, Jennifer serves as Secretary of The Calais Foundation. The foundation supports innovative programs and resources for students and families in the special needs community. Her experience in leadership and human resources provides valuable knowledge for students preparing their resumes.
Marissa Tedeschi will also share her professional experience during the session. Marissa graduated from Fairfield University in 2018 with a degree in Business Management and a concentration in Human Resources. She also completed a minor in Communications. Marissa began her career as a recruiter for a staffing agency. Today she works as a Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Specialist for Barnes and Noble Education.

The Building a Resume workshop will guide attendees through the process of crafting a clear and professional resume. Jennifer and Marissa will explain how to organize key sections and present experiences effectively.
Participants will also learn practical tips that help a resume stand out in competitive job markets. The presenters will share advice on formatting, highlighting skills, and communicating achievements. Moreover, these insights will help students present their strengths with clarity and confidence.
