Outstanding Achievements Recognized at Academic Honors Day

On Saturday, we honored our outstanding students at Academic Honors Day. Congratulations to Dominic Younger, recipient of the Undergraduate Presidential Medal, and Dawn Thomas, who received the SGPS Presidential Medal. We also proudly recognized Mia Hoppel (pictured with Professor Michelle Moravec) with the Outstanding Junior Award.

In addition, we honored students inducted into academic honor societies and those who achieved President’s List and Dean’s List distinctions.

Congratulations to all our honorees for their hard work and dedication!

Cherelle Parker, Mayor of Philadelphia, will deliver Rosemont’s 2025 commencement address and receive an honorary degree at the ceremony on Thursday, May 15. Cherelle Parker was inaugurated as the 100th mayor of Philadelphia on January 2, 2024, becoming the first woman to lead the city and hold the office in 341 years. “Mayor Parker’s leadership exemplifies the values we instill in our students. Her passion for positive change will encourage our graduates to embrace their roles as engaged and empowered members of society,” said Jim Cawley, President of Rosemont College.
